Marlin Club of San Diego Receives National and State Recognition

The Marlin Club of San Diego received National and State recognition Sunday at the 33rd Annual Day at the Docks celebration located at the Sportfishing landings on Scott Street. Mike Farrior, IGFA Trustee, presented the Marlin Club with a Certificate of Historical Recognition: for maintaining the only public Weigh Station in San Diego Bay for 65 years. The Club has provided 80 years of service to the San Diego fishing community.
California Assemblyman Martin Garrick presented the Marlin Club with a State Proclamation of 80 years of service and acknowledging their importance in Southern California Sportfishing.
The Marlin Club is open on weekends from 1 & 5 pm, at 2445 Shelter Island Dr.
