4-17-2012
Frank LoPreste
"Weather at Clipperton was warm," noted the report from Frank LoPreste's Royal Polaris, "but once again that 15-knot breeze kept it quite pleasant.
"Fishing was better today, but by no means great. We had 26 Yellowfin tuna and four Wahoo today. Rich Losey had a 218-pound Yellowfin, and Ken Kouchi got a 201. There were some 150 to 180's and also a few 50 to 70-pound fish.
"Tomorrow is our last day and we are hoping for a strong finish."
