BANG (041412)!!! Hi folks;
Weather today was a little breezy. It was sunny and warm and the breeze is actually appreciated. Sunscreen is a must throughout the day unless you want a serious burn.
Fishing today was great. We had 59 Yellowfin tuna and 10 Wahoo for the day. There were a few fish under a 100 pounds, but most were from 120 to 216 pounds. We had at least 15 fish in the 175 to 190 class. The fish here are longer in length and not as much girth and definitely meaner than any other place we fish.
We did find a log today and we caught 350 baits on it along with some nice Yellowfin tuna. We stopped fishing at 17:45 hours, because our fresh well was full and we transferred bait to the deck and we are now chilling our final fresh well. Unfortunately the surf is up again today so unless there is a serious change getting on the atoll is looking doubtful. We do believe in miracles so we will see what happens. Enjoy the photos. The R/p crew.
