4-6-2012
Kevin Brock
Fishing the Feather River, Friday morning started out chilly and warmed up to a wonderful spring day. Michael caught the largest striper at 8 lbs. Dell, Quentin,Dave and Gary all had a great day catching limits of stripers.
All fish were caught using live minnows on sensitive G. Loomis STR980 rods, PLine CXX high vis line, and 10 LB CXX green leader with a Calcutta reel, sliding sinker, #1 or #2 mosquito hooks, and a 3/4 or 1/2 ounce sinker.
There was plenty of wild life to be seen, including wild turkeys, wood ducks and mallards Maggie the dog loved the view!
