ARRIVE TO CLIPPERTON (040912)!!! Hi folks;
we arrived at Clipperton atoll at 12:30 hours. About 12 miles from Clipperton we found a small log and caught about a hundred baits. We caught 20 Yellowfin tuna and 45 Wahoo for the time we were here. Largest Yellowfin tuna was caught on a mackerel by Greg Curry at 190 pounds. Gary LaCroix got a 175 pound tuna, and George Outhwaite a 165 pound Yellowfin tuna. There were six fish over a hundred and the rest were 35 to 60 pounds. There was a nice mix in size on the Wahoo with quite a few nice ones coming aboard. Enjoy the photos and we hope to have a great report for you tomorrow. The R/p crew.
