"The Seeker Rods Gang put on an inshore clinic today," observed Intrepid skipper Kevin Osborne April 5, "with Captains Luis and Juan catching many nice Cubera Snapper and trophy Rooster Fish. The big Snappers were really putting up some great battles today inside along the rocky structure. The Rooster Fish have also started to become more aggressive with many of them caught and released this week that included several 40 to 50-pound trophy fish. In the afternoon there was some nice top water action on the MC Slugs with the Blue Star Jacks smashing the baits. There were also some Tuna that came in a little closer today and the guys were able to make a short run and get in on some offshore action as well.

The fishing this trip has been very good and our group was very eager to release many fish to fight again another day. It is very gratifying to see fisherman being so happy to catch & release these beautiful fish down here to help keep the fishery strong. Tomorrow we will spend our final morning Kayaking along the coastline and walking over the sand beaches before heading for port. The Intrepid Team would like to give a big thanks to Seeker Rods and all who joined us on this adventure. It sure was a great trip!"
