Trout are on the bite at San Pablo Reservoir

San Pablo Reservoir
San Pablo Reservoir Hours: 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Marina Hours: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Water Temperature: 53 Degrees
Last Trout Plant: 1,200 lbs. on Tuesday March 20th, and Fish & Game planted 2,000 lbs. also on the 20th and another 1,000 lbs. by Fish & Game on March 21st
The trout bite has picked up a little this week despite the rain. Berkley PowerBait and Power Egg colors in Chartreuse, Rainbow and Spring Green are still working as well as Berkley Mice Tails in addition to the PowerBait Trout Dip in Garlic or Roe scents. Nightcrawlers and Berkley Gulp Salmon Eggs Fluorescent Orange and Fluorescent Red also have been working. Rapalas like the broken back Fire Tiger and shad lures as well as Rainbow Spinners seem to be the lures of choice for trolling.
