Bass fishing was the feature this week at Lower Otay Reservoir

Bass fishing remains good at Harvey's and Otay Arms, either side of the launch ramp and around the entrance of Bushlow Cove.
Crappie action picked up this weekend with several 6 & 8 fish stringers. The best spots are from Harvey's Arm to the aerator east and from the Olympic Rowing Center Dock north.
Catfish action is still good on nightcrawlers and mackerel. Best spots are the Rockpile, Harvey's and Otay Arm.
The WON Bass Tournament was held last Saturday, there were a total of 16 Boats, and 30 Anglers. A total of 61 Bass were caught, for a total weight of 141.26 lbs. All the fish have been released back into the lake.
