The largemouth are still biting all over the lake on an array of baits. From Robo Worms to Swimbaits, anglers have been pulling out Lunkers at both the lagoon and upper lake. The largemouth at the upper lake have been hanging out in shallower waters around 15 feet or so. They are still biting worms and some creature baits even a crankbait here and there. Smallmouth are also on rise, Anglers ran into a few smallies in hawks nest last week, anglers caught them on jigs and creature baits. The catfish are still holding strong at the buoy line on sardines. Night cralwers have been catching the largies as well at both the lagoon and upper lake. The stripers are still hanging out in deep water but again anglers have had good luck with ice jigs off of C-point. The night bite at the lagoon fishing swimbaits is still a great way to try an catch a double digit largemouth.
