A record setting 2.94 lb. Crappie was caught this week at Lake Del Valle

Marina Hours: 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Last Trout Plant: Was 500 lb.s from Mt. Lassen on February 9th
Water Temperature: 52 degrees
A Lake Del Valle crappie record was broken with a 2 lb. 15 oz. crappie caught by Eric and Justin from Livermore in the photo above. Trout fishermen are pulling in limits with some very nice size catches.
PowerBait colors in White, Chartreuse, Rainbow and Spring Green followed by a PowerBait 3" Floating Trout Worm in White, Chartreuse, Pink Shad, Bubblegum, Fluorescent Orange , Cheese or Yellow/Orange used with or without PowerBait Trout Attractant or Trout Dip in Garlic or Roe are favorites. Berkeley Gulp 2.5" Trout Worms in White, Chartreuse, Bubblegum or Fluorescent Orange are popular too. Panther Martins, Kastmasters and Rapalas seem to dominate in lures this week trolling.
Crappie jigs and crappie nibbles in light and bright colors are bringing in some great Crappie catches too.
