The trout action has continued very good at Corona Lake with many anglers posting nice stringers of trout, even during this past week's rain.

The best rainbow reported this week was a 10  ?-pounder landed by Santiago Godoy, Riverside, while fishing a green floating bait off the dam shoreline. Diana and Vicky Sanchez, Covina, had 10 rainbows for 18 pounds total, including a 4  ?-pounder as the top fish. Tony Covell, Corona, and Araceli Torres, Arcadia, also had 10 rainbows for 18 pounds.

The best trout action has been floating dough baits in bright colors with the garlic and hatchery pellet flavors top bets. Small jigs and trout plastics have also been good. Adding a garlic scent to the baits or lures had been a good idea.
