Wow what a crazy derby so far not many fish coming in to be weighed. I did not do a report last week because there wasn't much to report on. I hear a lot of complaints from our customers.

I have been told that anglers are catching fish just not sizeable ones. I have also been told that because there was a full moon that the fish were not biting. I was also told some anglers have had lots of bites just haven't been able to catch much.

Week 2 winners are 1st place Ron Powdrill of Gardnerville NV with 3 lbs. 8 oz. one of three that weighed in. 2nd place is John Pricco of Covina CA with 2 lbs. 14 oz.

Week 3 winners are 1st place Francine Tanner of South Lake Tahoe weighing in at 3 lbs. 5 oz. 2nd place is Gary Nelson of Gardnerville weighing in at 2 lbs. 10 oz.

So far we have had 79 tagged fish of which 58 were caught on Jan 1.
