Trout action at Prado Lake has been fair to good with fishermen scoring on quality fish every day. Fish have been ranging fron 1 to 2 lbs. with many larger fish as well.

The lake is stocked weekly with 1,000 lbs. of trout from the country planting program. A California stste fishing license is required and state fishing regulations apply for fishing. Hard bottom boats up to 16 ft. are allowed, no gas engines are allowed. Junior fishing workshop will be held on Saturday January 21.
