After a spectacular fall salmon season, the annual fishing cycle begins anew with the Smith River.

And thanks to some recent rain, the Smith River fishing has begun!

A few of the shiny hard-fighting Smith River steelhead were caught on 12-28-11, and fishing should continue to improve.
