Lots of fish today! Lings, Reds, Sheephead, Whitefish, Sculpin.. Quality sized rockfish moving into 3/4 day range! ..looking good for the end of the 2011 season. The weather was also outstanding today, and looks to continue through the rest of the week.
TODAY'S REPORT:
PACIFIC EAGLE departed at 5am with 17 anglers. They caught 29 lingcod, 145 rockfish, 2 sheephead and 3 sculpin.
ISLAND SPIRIT departed at 6am with 41 anglers. They caught 268 rockfish, 8 whitefish, 4 sheephead, 10 sculpin and 9 lingcod.
PACIFIC DAWN departed at 7am with 22 anglers. They caught 180 rockfish, 10 whitefish, 2 sheephead, 12 sculpin and 4 lingcod.
GREAT WEATHER reported by all three boats today. Local fishing is hot right now with quality reds being caught and lots of lingcod! Season ends Saturday December 31st!! Done be left wishing you had made that "one last trip" !!
NEXT OPEN TRIP:
Departs at 6am Tuesday morning aboard the Island Spirit. This is a 3/4 day trip targeting red snapper and lingcod. Open spots still available!
