Royal Polaris Crew
Hi folks, I could just say ditto on the weather and ditto on the fishing.
All is going very well aboard the Royal Polaris. Today at 15:00 hour I
officially called it an afternoon of relaxation. Passengers drank beer,
cocktails,m took showers and just enjoyed a beautiful afternoon on the
water. We caught 20 fish over 200 pounds with the largest being a 280 pound
Yellowfin tuna, caught by Gary Ahsing. At 16:00 hours we started fishing
again with the heaviest line allowed being 40 pound test. the cutoff is 300
pounds. that was the only way I could make sure no fish came aboard.
Tomorrow we start on the last well. Cutoff will still be 200 pound or
better. wish us luck and whatever happens we will report.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

The Royal Polaris is having some difficulty with the satellite upload, so no pictures yet. They got to the grounds on Wednesday 1/4 and were not disappointed. They had a dozen or so, with 4 or 5 over 200, released quite a few from 150 up. Biggest so far is 275 caught by Butch Brown. Weather is flat and calm. We hope the satellite problem is solved soon, but if not they will phone in the reports....... Read More
