Happy Holidays And Happy Anglers

12-19-2011
Channel Islands Sportfishing

Today was another one of those epic days for all of our sportboats. With 13 species in the count not just the rockfish and lingcod were biting today. Captain Sudac of the Cobra found a few calicos and sand bass and also had good scores of sheephead and red snapper. The Speed Twin had solid scores of rockfish and a few mean lings to go with it. The Aloha Spirit had limits style fishing for both rockfish and lingcod. Captain Don had happy anglers today with 200 rockfish for 22 anglers while Captain John Fuqua of the Sea Jay scored limits of rockfish and good scores of whitefish, sheephead and lingcod. Don’t forget our overnight boats fishing the outer islands. Both the Mirage and Coral Sea had limits of big outer island cod followed by high counts of whitefish and lingcod. With all that said we have 2 weeks left in the season, LETS GO FISHING!
