Royal Polaris Sportfishing Trip Update (121611)

HARD SCRATCHING (121611)!!! Frustrating, challenging ,perhaps the best way to describe today's fishing was "character building". The day started off with a bang when Fred Falls got on the kite early and scored a taped 205 pounder and it was game on. Several hours later when Fred's fish was the only one on board it was clear that today would be game off. Never the less with determined and persistent anglers, we made a day of it. Fred eventually got another 190 on bait and there were several other 180s and 190s caught with Niel Cambell landing an estimated 195 just about 45 seconds ago. It was the kind of a day that you could shoot out bait after fresh bait into the zone and never get smelled while the guy next to you just hooked up on his third fish for the day. Trust me, I speak from personal experience here! The kite was the surest way to retirement today as after an hour or so if you hadn't hooked one you were rotated. We went through quite a few guys and almost no one rotated due to actually catching a fish. All in all you can never complain when fish of this quality are around so we'll keep plugging at them and hope that tomorrow every one scores. Weather in a word, is magnificent! POEM FOR THE DAY: The squid never had a chance To score with his date at the dance Some sharks made the scene Started acting real mean And the poor guy inked his pants.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
