The trout continue to play hide and seek with our anglers. The best bet is still cats, but the bass are not a bad option. Some of the trout anglers using inflated crawlers on 12" leaders are catching some very nice red ears. Eagle Point and the fishing float where the gangway ends.

Best Trout Spots: None

Best Trout Bait/Lures: None

Best Cat Spots: Cloister Cove (Bird trees), and south side of the buoyline.

Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and Chicken livers. Use scent liberally.

Best Bass Spots: The west side of Sentry and Eagle Point also the riprap that parallels the launch ramp.

Best Bass Lures/Bait: Ikas, Dropshotting Arron's Magic or Morning Dawn 7" worms.

Water Temp: 69 degrees on surface

Notables: Sat., Jared Surber and dad, (pic) 3-12 largemouth, 5 red ears, 1 channel cat, Fishing float, nightcrawlers. Sat. John Visser and Jake Alirez, Lemon Grove, 10 cats, largest 4-0, chicken livers, buoyline.

Prognosis: We will stock every week for the next 22 weeks. The trout bite should improve each week as we build inventory. Don't forget about our bass and cats. This in my opinion is prime time for those species.
