Island Report from the Royal Polaris
11-2-2011
Bill Roecker
"Reporting from the Royal Polaris: weather is wonderful, with clear skies, a slight breeze out of the northwest, and sunny. Our morning started out with a seminar. After the seminar the crew went right to work, getting everyone ready for a fun day of fishing. Once we arrived to San Benitos islands, it didn't take long for the Yellowtail to start biting. It was very good fishing, on 18 to 30 pound Yellowtail. After 3 hours of fishing, we had over 100 Yellows. As the sun was setting, we started our travels south. We should arrive to our next destination in the early morning hours."
