"What a great 36 hours," Shogun skipper Bruce Smith reported October 16, "we have literally been catching yellowtail, yellowfin tuna and dorado the whole time. After last nights report we got the anchor down, it only took about a half hour and the yellows went on the bite in the dark, they would come through in flurries. This lasted till about 09:00 this morning, then the current switched so we made a short move and then it was WFO yellowfin for the next few hours. After that we started trolling around and got into some dorado action and more yellowtail here at dark. Very good fishing for us last night and today."
