Frank Ursitti - Ranger 85
Hi anglers,
High command at SportfishingReport called me personally and demanded a rundown on this past weekend, so here we go...
We had a super nice weekend fishing on the Coral Sea. Saturday we departed at 5am with 24 anglers onboard and managed 240 rockfish on what could only be described as Lake Pacific.
It was nice seeing several of our regular customers who typically fish our multi-day trips on the Ranger 85. We had a great time catchin' up, and catchin' limits! Ben and Pete...always a good time...
Sunday was no different. We made a game plan and departed at 10pm. The weather continued to hold and we took full advantage. We started the morning in the hopes of scoring a few game fish, but quickly decided conditions were not condusive so we followed the plan we put together upon departure...
We worked at and managed to catch nice grade rockfish...then with our tank of small mackerel we targeted the lings...WOW...20 total and all good grade.
While still room, and a little time left, we finished the day topping off on quality white fish with limits for all.
Love it when a good plan comes together.
Hope you enjoy the pics...
A great time was had by all..check out stuntman "All business" Greg fishing in his formal attire...Jerry's giant and all the other dragons...it was a weekend to remember.
This week we depart both Thursday and Friday evening fishing the outer Channel Islands and Sunday morning we depart at 4 am fishing full day. You can reserve your trip online @ CoralSeaSportfishing.com or contact our office @ 805 382 1612.
