Pardee Weather
Clearing skies today and throughout the week with temperatures in the low 70's.

Pardee Water Conditions
Lake level will continue to drop as preparations are made for the winter rains. Presently Lake level is approximately 6 feet below spill and continues to fall 6 to 8 inches a day. Good visibility to 11 feet, water temperatures are currently 64 degrees at the 20 foot mark and 67 at the surface as recorded in the Marina.

Fishing Conditions
Not too many Trollers to speak of lately, those looking for trout continue to cruise along the eastern side of the Lake from the Sugar Bowl through the Narrows and a bit beyond Mel's Cove. Some others have done OK in the River Arm starting at the Mouth and trolling all the way to Twin Coves and beyond.
Best Lures
Small lures, needlefish, wobblers, Sep's and Uncle Larry's fire tiger all tipped with scented with corn or a bit of night crawler behind a dodger still the best combination. Some boaters have opted to tie off way up river at Columbia and beyond and have done well bait fishing. Still others have switched to cat fishing and have been doing well along the eastern side of the sugar bowl just off Stony Point Landing and in Mel's Cove. Chicken livers seem to working the best.

Bank fishermen have also been landing some large cats around and under TomSawyerBridge. The lowering water level has exposed lots of tempting feed the cats are determined to take advantage of. According to the Marina a 22 lb and a 14 lb cat fish were taken from the bank last week!

The attached photo of the Mullicans was taken just after their last boat ride here at PardeeLake. This was their last season here after spending 12 great years in the seasonal trailer park. Wishing you both tons of wonderful memories, best of luck and warm wishes...

Pardee Lake Recreation has planted 70,200 lbs in combination the California Dept of Fish and Game plants of 6,200 lbs for a grand total of 77,000 lbs of Rainbow Trout. There will be no further plants this season.
