IT'S THAT TIME WATCH OUT FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS
ONCE THEY HAVE THEIR EYE TO THE LENS
THEIR BRAINS TEND TO DISENGAGE & THEY ARE APT TO WANDER INTO THE ROAD or PARK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD!

Guess what - the trees are turning (finally) - from across Sabrina Camp to across the Lake and up the slopes on both the east and west sides of the Lake - yup, Fall has arrived along with the Fall weather and the photographers. Cooler temperatures along with a few thunderboomers on Saturday puts you right into the Fall mood. The Lake's also starting to drop a few inches every day.

Catching this week was awesome and the fishing spectacular - saw so many limits leaving the Lake and lots of people catching and releasing fish - thanks to the DFG stocking on Thursday. A bit of a problem fishing the Inlets right now - the fish are tucked right up into the inlet stream - if you can get up in there - NightCrawlers, WoolyBuggers, PowerBait and jigs - just look for the white quartz "X" in the DingleBerry Inlet - it marks the spot. Those in a trolling mood are using lures, NightCrawlers or WoolyBuggers. The Dam and shore fisherpeople are using just about the same thing - NightCrawlers, PowerBait and PowerWorms.

Greyson Schaeffer of Tehachapi, in the main photo caught his FIRST FISH EVER at Lake Sabrina this week. When asked what he used to catch his first fish - he replied, "A Fishing Pole!" he also stated the bait he used was GREEN PowerBait! Carl Symmes of Orange landed a nice 3 pounder also using a fishing pole and a Thomas Buoyant.
