Qualifier Crew

It was all about the bass this morning, we unloaded the skiffs and kayaks and started to catch bass right away. It was good until about 9:30 then it just stopped biting. We were able to pick the bass but the every cast stuff stopped. We put the big boat just outside the kelp and we landing some nice big yellows also. Louie Zimm, a longtime Q fisherman was our guest deckhand today and he is quick on his feet. He was running around gaffing, tagging and dropping the fish in a heartbeat. The bass fishing was good again today with a lot of 5 to 8 lb fish. The calico fishing in the skiffs is as fun as it gets when they are biting good. Dave Klein is up to a limit of yellows as are a few others. Some guys only want a few and they are happy. We have had a good trip and are headed north tonight, more later, the Q crews out!!!

The skiffs saw some good bass fishing...... Read More

The plastic boats had good fishing and so did the big aluminum one. We had yellowtail for everyone on the big boat, it was...... Read More
