"Today we started in the local area outside of San Martin Island for yellowfin tuna. We had excellent fishing with daily limits and good action on 15 to 18-pound yellowfin. Live bait was the primary method and a few fish were caught on Laser Minnows, Megabaits and a few fish on the surface popper. We tried several kelps today with not much production besides a few dorado. The weather was great with very little wind and almost no swell. We are headed to Cedros Island to try for yellowtail tomorrow. Hopefully the yellows will bite and we can head out to Guadalupe tomorrow night."
