Weather:
Forecasts show sunny skies with very hot temperatures in the high 90's and 100's this week. There have been strong winds in the late afternoon.

Bees and rattlesnakes are out this time of year so always be cautious when going on trails and shoreline!

Please come in the Marina store and tell us your fish stories!

BASS
In the early mornings, Zara spooks, sroungers, flukes, and other shad imitation plastics have been productive. Most of the fish were caught by drop shotting or texas rigging plastic worms. Oxblood, purple and shad colored plastics are still working great. Bigger fish are being caught in 20-40 ft of water. Shad are along the south shore as well as some areas on the north side of the lake.

STRIPER
Many stripers were caught during the Striper King Classic that happened on Saturday. Stripers are still boiling in the early mornings. Our lake regulars have been scoring limits of stripers on cut bait (anchovies, sardine). Some of the catches reported this week caught trolling white flys on leadcore, 4-6 colors out.

CATFISH
Catfish are still biting on mackerel, night crawlers, and chicken liver. There was some nice cats reported this week, ranging from 4-12lbs. Shore fishermen have had some luck in the second and third cove.

PANFISH
Limits of bluegill and redear were reported, all caught on mealworms, crickets, or night crawlers. Few crappie reported this week. Two year old Johanna Stephens of Hemet, (in picture above), caught a nice 1 lb. Redear on a nightcrawler.
