"We opted for another day here at Guadalupe," noted the Intrepid's report for August 18, "and were treated to lots of Tuna crashing around the boat, but not very many biters. We did land a couple of Big Tuna and some more good grade Yellows before we went inside and had some fantastic WFO Calico Bass fishing that also had a mix of smaller Yellows in there. Last night we caught some big Yellows and Four More Giant Black Sea-Bass that were all released very successfully to fight another day.
Overall picture here is good with lots of sign around. We feel it will bust loose once again for somebody in the near future. Tomorrow we will be offshore searching for a biting school before heading in for our return check-in at Ensenada."
