Fish Report for 8-14-2011

Opening for upcoming Pacific Queen Trips

8-14-2011
Bill Cavanaugh - Pacific Dawn

Blue Fin Tuna are biting! We have had several epic trips in a row on Blue Fin Tuna. Although we have had some good trips and have made the most out of a very tough year what we have on the horizon looks very promising. Limits style fishing on Blue Fin Tuna with Yellow Fin and kelp fish mixed in. Like I explained previously the Yellowtail on kelps are an incredible grade of fish. These Yellowtail range from 18-22 lbs with some nicer ones mixed in. Most of the Blue Fin we are catching fish that range from 12-15lbs but there are some 30-50lbs fish mixed in. Things are starting to look very good and our trips are filling up in a hurry.

We have a early departure 2.5 day trip leaving Sunday the 21st at 12pm. The price of this trip is $690 and that includes your food and permit. The trip is limited to 24 people and is sponsored by Daiwa. We have only three spots left on this trip and with this fishing I bet the spots will be filled before Wednesday. If you are interested in this trip call Drew at 714-720-6973.

The rest of our trips can be booked through Fisherman's Landing. Our next trip with openings is our Berkeley sponsored 2 day that leaves Wednesday the 24th. If you are interested in signing up for that trip call Fisherman's Landing at 619-221-8500 or sign up on our website.

Don't miss out on this incredible fishing and jump aboard the Pacific Queen!
