Another good day here on the Qualifier 105! When we awoke, we were almost to our fishing hole after running all night. The rocks off in the distance had the gang all pulling out the cameras. Even if you have fished the rocks before it always an awesome sight to see, 3 rocks out in the middle of nowhere. With anticipation running high, we trolled around for a while and looked the area over good. Captain Joe decided to drop anchor on one of the high spots and it was a good one. We had fish crashing around the boat within minutes and with our kite up and line in the water we started to hook fish. Some of the first action saw a few getting bit off, wahoo's in the area. A few put on wire leaders and that was the right chose. Hands full of wahoo were landed and they were ALL big ones. Their were some typical wahoo incidents, the fish hits and runs and there it goes up to the anchor, or under the boat, or out and right in to the line that connects another angler to a wahoo and that never ends good. A few better tuna were landed, fish up to around 125 lbs. Just about everyone had at least 1 tuna and some had 2 or 3. Dan Alcarez had a couple big fish, as did Blair Dupree. T.J. Ponded had a nice kite fish that will out weigh him for shure. The action was good and we will remain here for more tomorrow, till then the Q crew's out
