Ventura Landing ~ Fishing UPDATE & Upcoming Trips

8-10-2011
Mike Thompson

FISHING UPDATE: Both local and outer island fishing have been outstanding! The Island Spirit has been pounding the sand bass and barracuda on local wrecks. Great to see because the "sandies" have not been in our area for a number of years.
As for the overnight fishing, its on fire again with white seabass! Coming up an yet another full moon the seabass have started to dominate the dock totals with huge numbers. Our overnight boat, Pacific Eagle, is making the run to Santa Rosa island to get in this action all week long. This full moon bite is known to be "for a limited time", so don't miss out!

UPCOMING SCHEDULE: Island Spirit 3/4 day departs daily at 6am and returns at 4:30pm.
Island Spirit twilight trips depart at 5:30pm and return at 10pm, Thursday-Friday-Saturday.
Pacific Eagle overnight departs daily at 10pm, and returns the following day between 6-7pm.
