Bill Roecker

"Weather today at Alijos Rocks was quite lovely," said the report from Royal Polaris August 3. "Eight to 10 knots of breeze and sunny. Fishing was quite tough. We caught 14 Yellowfin tuna from 50 to 95 pounds. Tom Patton was the hot angler, landing the big fish of the day on 40-pound test and a live sardine. We also had a handful of Yellowtail. We are moving up tonight and will try our luck tomorrow at some Halibut."
