Klamath Management Zone Commercial Salmon Season: Brief Opener and Closure

The commercial salmon fishery opened briefly from the California-Oregon border to the Humboldt south jetty on August 1, 2011 and closed on August 2, 2011 after quickly attaining an 880 Chinook quota.
All salmon must be landed in the area within 24 hours of the 11:59 p.m. closure on August 2, 2011.
