Fish Report for 7-24-2011
It's July...but it's fishing like it's June. Be the first to your favorite spot.

It's 7/24, and today was the first day I was able to cross the river below Hirschdale. Is was a bit sketchy, but worth it. There's places that still haven't been fished since last fall, and I like to be the first. The Truckee River is still dropping slowly daily, and daily she is fishing better.
A perfect 58 degrees and caddis just about everywhere. Put a G-6 on whatever rig you like to fish, and it won't take long. I'd show you some photo's of some big browns, but if you hold to tight and death grip 'em, they usually pop off.
Big fish are like a fine bottle of wine you gotta let let 'em breath. August will be excellent, more like July, September is going to be, well you know...
