SHOGUN SPORTFISHING TRIP UPDATE (072511)

7-26-2011
Bruce A. Smith

CEDROS ISLAND (072511)!!! It was a good morning for the Flash group here at Cedros island. The average size of the Yellows this morning were on the big with most in the 25 to 35 pound class. Many of the fish came on fly lined sardines, but if you get get a surface iron in front of they nose they would readily pounce on it. The Neapolitan Salas 7x was issuing it's fair share of "ice cream headaches" to boiling and frisky Yellowtail. We are now underway and traveling down towards the rocks. Our weather, so far, is good.
