YELLOWS LIMITS (072111)!!! Hello everyone;
Weather continues to be wonderful, with lots of sunshine and warm days. Fishing was excellent today, with limits for all aboard (daily limits). Most of the Yellowtail were in the 15 to 18 pound grade, with a few going over 20 pounds. We did have one that will go over 30 pounds, caught by Roy English.
After we caught our daily limits we headed over to the beach and made a few drifts for Halibuts, and we caught a handful of them. Largest Halibut was about 35 pounds, caught by Doug Patterson. We did have a few heartbreak's, but the one that comes to mind was Gary Iwamura. Gary had a very large Halibut on, but once the fish came to the surface, Gary pulled the head out of the water, and the fish gave Gary back his hook, thats a no-no, Gary.
We will give this one more day, then see whats next for our group, so until tomorrow, wish us luck. The R/p crew.
P.S. Kari, good times out here, Cat will be Happy tomorrow, may be you too. I love you{:) Dr. Ron
