Skiff Trip Returns & Three Nevada Anglers Score

Joe Crisci docked Qualifier 105 at Pt. Loma Sportfishing July 10 following an eight-day trip down the Baja. There were 19 anglers aboard for the open-party trip.
Ken Shoning of Las Vegas won first place for a 39-pound yellowtail that bit on his Tady 4/0 jig in scrambled eggs color. He said he used 30-pound P-Line on a Daiwa 40 reel and a GRUSA seven-foot rod.
David Snyder of Parhrump, NV won second place for a 33-pound halibut, and Donald Cooper of Ely, NV won third place for a 20-pound yellowtail.
