Hello Warm Weather, Warm Water And A Hot Bite!
7-6-2011
Channel Islands Sportfishing
Last month the bite started to get warm, this month it's down right hot! With the Mirage pulling in a record 67lb halibut last week and 6 other buts weighing in over 50lbs, the flatties are fatties. The white seabass have been nice as well. We have had fish over 50lbs common on out full day boats and overnight boats. Today Capt Fuqua of the Sea Jay had 11 for 11 anglers followed up by 20 calicos. The Aloha Spirit is still on a solid roll netting 3 biscuits today and the Mirage had 7 on its overnight trip. The ? and half day boats have been doing well on the bass counts as well. The Gentleman had 81 calicos for 17 anglers and the speed twin had over 100 bass on board for 15 anglers. Needless to day the shallow water action is hot like July! We have ?, ?, full day and overnight fishing trips leaving daily fishing the good stuff. Call out friendly staff today for reservations or simply book online at ChannelIslandsSportfishing.com.
