3 New Anglers catch their first fish at Silver Lake
7-3-2011
Chad Woods
Today, I took my family and my cousin's family down to Silver Lake, CA to fish from the shoreline for some Rainbows. We had a very successful day fishing with Chunky Cheese Garlic Bait. First to hook up was Michael Thuesen from Orinda, CA. Next was Zane Woods from Washoe Valley. Then Shannon Thuesen caught a nice Rainbow too. We had 3 new anglers catch their first fish ever today. We fished for about 1 hour and had a total of 6 trout caught and kept and 1 released. We had a great time hanging out with the father son combo of Bob and Steve from San Pedro, CA. It was nice hanging out with you guys in paradise.
Mammoth Mountain is still open. There are plenty of people in town to celebrate the 4th and the closing of an amazing season.
