SHOGUN SPORTFISHING TRIP ANNOUNCEMENT (062511)

SPOT AFTER SPOT OF YELLOWTAIL (062511)!!! Cedros was slow again today. We hit spot after spot of yellowtail and they shunned us with only a few biters out of each. By the end of the day we had scratched a decent amount of fish, then we headed into the island to search for some premiums. At the second stop we found some big ones boiling around and had a really good calico bass bite going. If you wanted one of those yellows you had to stick with it and put a surface iron on their nose, the Salas 7x "Green Mamba" accounted for some more 30 to 36 pound fish. Big Fish Happen, Bruce A. Smith One of the pictures shows a rarity of a fish, a cross between a Golden Spotted Sand bass and Calico bass.
