Hi angler's
It ended up being another nice day today. Once again the morning was
slow, and we ended up making the day in the late afternoon. It wasn't as
good today as it had been, but we still ended up with 12 fish over 100 lbs.
and about 12 from 75 - 95 lbs. for the day.
The two biggest fish of the day were Jim Carlisle with a 170 and Tim
Turis with a 175. I have sent a picture of Jim's fish coming over the rail
and Tim with his nice fish. There is also a photo of Tony Lott with a 125
lb. tuna being assisted by crewmembers Shawn and Mike.
The high light of the day was a short night bite that we had from about
6 :30 - 8:00 in the evening. The first two fish were around 140 lbs. and
both kamikaze's. We picked up another 8 fish after that, from 60 - 100 lbs.
It was an exciting way to finish the day.
It seems as though things are changing, however we still see sign of
good fish around. I still have high hopes for getting some cows. We will be
here again tomorrow.

We all know that is when the bite is going to start (well it seems to work that way quite a...... Read More

Hello Anglers, Today we woke up with winds up to 45 knots blowing straight off the beach at Abreojos. After trying a couple drifts over some rocks that sometimes produce good yellows and groupers,we called it unfishable and headed toward Hipolito. When we arrived at Hipolito, there was good sign of yellowtail and small tuna.We were able to boat about 50 yellowtail and 20 tuna for our day.I think you could do really good on the yellows except that there is an overwhelming amount......
