Albacore in the 20 to 30 pound range!

Hello Anglers,

The last two days were productive overall with albacore in the 20 to 30 pound range. Our gray bite yesterday was pretty good with 41 fish coming over the rail and from there we had a steady area that we were getting strikes in and for the day we were only a few fish from our daily limit on these nice fish. We stayed the night in that area but only found a couple of fish to bite the jigs. We headed east the rest of the day and found another area of 15 to 25 pound fish that gave us the action we needed before we ran out of time and had to go home. We will be arriving at Fisherman's Landing at 0900 and we have a few days in before we start the full time summer grind that we are looking for. We will check in on the way out next trip. Today was our last full day of fishing and we picked up 7 nice tuna over 120 pounds for the day along with a wahoo and a handful of 30 to 40 pounders. Today was another travel day and we did a seminar along with some rigging. We had good weather all day and it is expected to get better in the upcoming days. After dinner we stopped for squid and had a good bite on the 12 to 18 inch baits. We have one more day of traveling before we get to the bank so we will check in after our first day.
