Hello Anglers,

We shut down in the dark at 0500 on a bluefin mark and drifted until daylight. At grey light we hooked one bluefin on the iron and it weighed 60 pounds and we did have another heavier fish hooked a little after that but the line broke while pulling on the fish. When we finally pulled out of that stop we did not go far before we saw a school of those big bluefin but we never got a boil or a bite out of them. The rest of the day was very slow with only yellowtail on kelps to be found until 1600 we saw a little dab of bluefin and ended up picking up 2- 40 pounders and a couple of albacore.The rest of the day we had a few strikes on albacore but never had a good stop. We will check in tomorrow with you all.
