Hello Anglers,
Today we had really choppy weather to contend with so when we got to the area we were looking for we put the sea anchor out and waited until daylight. When daylight finally did come the weather seemed to be a bit worse but since we were on the anchor it was very tolerable. The fish showed up for us around 0630 and we sat there until 1100 and we kept two to four fish going the whole time and there was a few school size bluefin mixed in as well. When we finally pulled the sea anchor in and went looking around it was really tough to get a jig strike and if you did there was not many bait fish to go with it. All things considered we had a very good day even in the sloppy weather. Tomorrow we are going to be at Guadalupe to get out of the weather and try for some yellowfin tuna. Shawn Steward
