Hello Anglers,

Today we were only able to fish Guadalupe until 1100 before we had to go home. First thing in the morning we hooked one yellowfin in the dark and he was about 30 pounds. There were a few other yellowfin caught just after daylight and then we did not see them for awhile so we left. We looked at a few other spots for not much and then we got the anchor down one last time before we had to go. Once it was down we started to see a few yellows and tuna on the meter and then we had a few fish going. The first couple of fish on board were yellowtail weighing 29 and 55 pounds. We had a few better sized tuna hooked but lost the first three we had hooked. The couple that we did finally land were 30 to 40 pounds and we got a few of those. Our last couple of fish of the day were 2 more nice yellowtail and the last tuna of the day was caught by Jay Robinson and it was a beautiful 85 pounder. A nice way to end the trip. We are going to be at Fisherman's landing at 0800 tomorrow. One of today's pictures is of Jay Robinson and his 85 pound yellowfin tuna being brought over the rail by Mike Riddell and Shawn Steward.
