Hello Anglers,
Sorry for the delay on the updates, the sat. phone connection has been tough to get updates through on. We arrived at Alijos Rocks at 0630 after a night of traveling. We were greeted with pretty nice weather and steady scratching on yellowfin from 70 to 125 pounds. The majority of the grade of tuna was 85 pounds and almost all 36 tuna we caught for the day were caught on sardines and 60 pound line. We also had a couple of yellowtail and Dorado and lost a couple of wahoo. Tonight we are going to stay here and try to get some squid then we will be able to fish until noon before we have to go home.I cannot stress the enough the quality of the tuna here right now, even though we only landed 36 of them, the quality is enough to make up for the numbers.Until tomorrow.
