Hello Anglers,

Today we were fishing Cedros Island for yellowtail. The wind gave us a little bit of a hard time but we were able to make a day of it. We fished the south end of the island and we picked up all the yellowtail we needed on one anchor job before we ran up to the north end. The yellowtail were 15 to 22 pounds and we caught them on flylined sardines, jigs, and dropperloop rigs. It was pretty good fishing no matter what kind of rig you wanted to use, it would work. Up at the north end of the island we looked for some bigger yellowtail but only found a few school size fish. Tonight we are going to travel up to San Martin to spend our last afternoon there before we head for home. We will check in tomorrow. Reported by: Shawn Steward
