Hello Anglers,
Today was our first day fishing for tuna on the grounds above Cabo. After making mackerel in Mag Bay last night we got down to the area around 0600. We saw good bird, bait and porpoise sign first thing in the morning and after 0930 we started to see some fish in the area as well. We hit various spots of small porpoise through out the day getting a couple of 100 to 150 pound tuna each time we stopped. Our best stop was for 9 yellowfin from 120 to 130 pounds and we also had a few casualties to go with it. Our to top anglers today go to Sally Vickers with a 150 pound yellowfin and Jan Howard with a 155 pound tuna. They beat out the rest of the gang as far as the big ones are concerned and I have to mention Tim Turis who landed 3 yellowfin over 100 pounds today. Wish us luck tomorrow. Shawn and the crew

Tomorrow we are going to look around the ridge to see if we can pick up a few wahoo and maybe a few tuna for...... Read More
