Hello Anglers,

Welcome to our pre Christmas 7 day trip. After unloading our incredible catch from last trip, we fueled up, loaded our supplies, and put 28 eager anglers on for 7 fun filled day's of fishing. This morning we looked at an area of warm water north of Guadalupe Island in hopes of finding some Albacore. Getting to the area at about 10 this morning, we had a couple of stops that accounted for 17 albacore in just a short period of time. After a little looking around we had another jig strike and a stop for another handful of the nice grade Alby's. The size of the fish ranged from a few releasers ( 8 pound albacore barely have wings ) to fish in the low 30 pound class, with the average being about 22 pounds. One more stop, this time on a meter mark, netted ( no pun intended ) us 28 of the quality fish. This is great being able to catch Albacore 10 day's before Christmas. With a couple of fish per angler to start the trip off, we decided to head for Guadalupe. The Royal Star had fished there recently on their 5 day trip and had really good fishing on quality Yellowfin up to 100 pounds. So we will try for a Yellowtail or two tonight if the Great White's will leave us alone, and see if we can't catch ourselves some Tuna tomorrow. I will try and update the same time tomorrow. Hello Anglers,

Today looked a little different as far as sign of tuna went. We saw good fish but all of the marks were down at 300 feet of more and the fish would not get any shallower. After trying multiple meter marks for nothing we finally saw a small sonar mark but we only hooked one fish which turned out to be a 100 pound yellowfin. That was basically our day. Tomorrow we are going to try our luck in a...... Read More
