Hello Anglers,

Today we arrived at the fishing grounds at 1500. We saw a little bit of sign of fish around so after a look around we stopped and fished. There was only three fish caught by the time it got dark, a 100 pounder caught by 976-TUNA rep. Ed White, the second was caught by Don Wallace and his fish was 150 pounds, and the third fish was a 305 pound yellowfin caught by first time long range angler Tom Rucher and he caught it on a Seeker Black Steel rod, with a 450 pound Soft Steel Ultra leader and a squid. Not a bad way to start our trip and we hope we to have a good report for you tomorrow. The picture that I am sending is of Justin Fleck giving a helping hand to Tom Rucher with his 305 pound yellowfin. Reported by: Shawn Steward

Carl and Rose Burns along with Ed White of 976-Tuna have been doing raffles and give aways which include t-shirts, rod blanks, wahoo bombs, and other fishing gear. We have been doing tackle, mono and wire crimping seminars as well as doing a proper harness use seminar. The weather so far has been beautiful and our sardines look very good as well. Wish us luck...... Read More

Hello Anglers,

Today we arrived at Fisherman's Landing at 0900 and we were pleasantly surprised with the outcome at the jackpot scales. After weighing up all of the fish we had a grand total of 25 yellowfin from 201 pounds to 242 pounds and a 306.7 pound yellowfin for lucky angler Dave Rocchi. Needless to say we were all ecstatic with the results of the catch. Our average fish for the trip was a little bigger than we thought, 170 pounds....... Read More
